"Idiot" (Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky)

 

Directed by Selma Spahić in Sarajevo National Theatre in 2023., Ivona Baković potrayed Alexandra Ivanovna Yepanchin, exploring themes such as capitalism, constant anxiety, social prestige, individualism, and the generational gap.

"Umjetnik u gladovanju/The Hunger Artist"

(Based on Franz Kafka's diaries and story The Hunger Artist)

This play, comprising the experiences and thoughts of young ensemble members and a choreography by Ena Kurtalić, was awarded Best Play at Festival Novi Tvrđava Teatar 2022 in Serbia. The national Theater Sarajevo honored the ensemble with the Award for Collective Play in 2022.

"Sarajevo Feeling" (Almir Bašović)

Directed by Thomas Steyaert in 2021., Ivona Baković played Matea in Almir Bašović's exploration of a generation born in the early 1970s, profoundly impacted by the war.

"Ništa nas ne smije iznenaditi / Nothing Should Surprise Us"

(Nejra Babić & Aleš Kurt)

Co-produced by MESS Festival and Sarajevo Youth Theatre. Ivona Baković understudied for Nadine Mičić in Aleš Kurt's play during the 2021/2022 season.

"God of Carnage" (Yasmina Reza)

Initially presented as Ivona Baković's final acting exam, this play, conducted under Admir Glamočak's mentorship in 2021, later became a part of in Sarajevo Youth Theatre's professional repertoire. The cast featured Ivona Baković as Véronique Houillé, Mak Čengić as Michel Houllié, Davor Sabo as Alain Reille, and Dženita Imamović - Omerović as Annette Reille.

"The Lonesome West" (Martin McDonagh)

Created under the mentorship of Admir Glamočak, this play was performed as an exam at The Academy of Performing Arts in Sarajevo in 2021. The cast included Ivona Baković as Girleen, Harun Ćehović as Valene, Riad Avdić as Coleman, and Damir Kustura as Father Welsh.
